We’re thrilled to have you and want you to enjoy your stay. What to know before your visit, and don’t hesitate to contact us with any questions. 

What to know before your visit.

We want you to have an enjoyable stay with us.  Here is some information for you to review prior to your visit. 

  1. A maximum of 4 adults or one family consisting of parents and children shall occupy a site. Additional adults shall pay for and occupy an additional site under the terms of this permit. No camping unit shall be set up beyond the defined limits of the campsite. 

  2. No camping party shall move from its assigned site to another without prior approval from the park manager.

  3. Quiet time in the park is from 11:00 p.m. - 8:00 a.m. All visitors must leave by 10:30 p.m. 

  4. Bikes, scooters, ride on toys, etc.. must be parked at dusk as a safety precaution.

  5. Each site includes one picnic table, one fire ring and one electrical outlet.

  6. No moving of fire pits or picnic tables, if moved must be returned to original location. 

  7. Burning of garbage in fire pits is prohibited. Bagged garbage may be disposed of in the dumpsters, located on the upper level of Holt Park Rd.

  8. Recycling can be disposed of in the recycling dumpster. Remove all recyclables from paper/plastic bags prior to dumping, located on upper level of Holt Park Rd.

  9. All camping units, vehicles, boats, ATV/UTV and/or trailer must fit within the boundary of campsite and no more than 2 motor vehicles are permitted at any campsite. You will be allowed one wheeled trailer, and it must fit within your campsite, ex. boat trailer.

  10.  No camping party shall set up or take down its camping unit between the hours of 10:00 p.m. - 7:00 a.m.

  11. Our park welcomes dogs, but they must remain on a leash at all times to ensure the safety of your dog, other dogs and all our guests. Also, No pets will be allowed in the designated swim/beach areas.

  12. No riding of ATV/UTV’s in the playground area, and/or the back docks and/or around sites, use is restricted to access trails and/or roadways.

  13. Gathering of dead or downed trees/branches for firewood is allowed. Firewood if available may be purchased from the park manager or within the guidelines of the WI DNR rules and regulations. Use of chainsaws or power tools is prohibited.

  14. The willful destruction of trees in any manner is prohibited. Violation of this rule is grounds for immediate expulsion from the park.  

  15. No firearms, bow and arrows, or fireworks are permitted in the campground. Violations will result in immediate revocation or your camping permit. Disorderly conduct, loud or obscene language, or violation of any of the rules will be grounds for revocation of the camping permit. 

  16. Violation of any state, local, and or county ordinance by a member of the camping party will be grounds for revocation of your camping permit.

  17. Town of Spruce accepts no liability from loss or damage as a result of this permit or its affects.
